Hello Dolls,

I recently came back from an absolutely fabulous vacation to Miami and the Caribbean. It was so nice just to get out of the frozen tundra that I have been stuck in for the past 2 months. Miami is probably my husbands and I’s favorite city. Every time we go, we have an amazing time. We love the beach, the shopping, the restaurants, and the nightlife. This was our first trip with just the two of us. In the past we have gone with friends, so it was nice to just spend some quality time together. In the past when my husband used to go he would stay at Fountainbleu, so this time we decided to try one of the newer resorts, so we opted for the SLS. The hotel was built just a few years ago and is the old Ritz Plaza hotel which was gutted and redone. It actually still has the original Ritz Plaza sign and has kept the Miami Art Deco feel as you will typically find in South Beach. I definitely recommend the hotel if you’re looking for a posh and trendy atmosphere, and the service was impeccable. I typically love staying on Collins in south beach since it is walking distance to the restaurants and shopping, but far enough from the craziness on Ocean Drive. We did the usual: went to the beach, the pool, shopping, and went out to dinners.

My favorite place to shop is Lincoln Road even though some of my favorite one-of-a-kind stores, like Follies and Astoria, are no longer there. I usually don’t leave disappointed. Also, Bal Harbour is normally the mall that I would go to, but this time we decided to check out the Miami Design District because the Hermes store moved there and I absolutely had to go there. The Design District is not as gorgeous as Bal Harbour and I didn’t see quiet as many Bentleys and Birkins, but all the top brands are there like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Christian Louboutin, etc. Uber in Miami is super cheap and it was a short Uber ride from SLS.

We had breakfast every morning at the outdoor restaurant at SLS. For lunch on Thursday we went to La Sandwicherie because my husband is obsessed. On Friday we went to Sushi Samba, it was good, but the one in Las Vegas is better. For dinner we went to our favorite restaurant in the world…..Prime One Twelve. The food there is heavenly and it’s fun to stargaze, but be prepared to wait to be seated even if you have a reservation. Friday night we went to Villa Azur and were a little disappointed! The food was nothing compared to Prime One Twelve, but then again can you really compare anything to Prime One Twelve? Also they seated us at one of those tables where the neighboring table is about 5 inches away and we hated it. The service felt like they were trying to get us in and out, all of our food came out a little too quickly for it to be made to order. I do have to say the place is gorgeous, so if you are ever in Miami stop by Villa Azur, have some drinks, take some pictures, and then go eat somewhere else.

This is a long post with lots of pictures thank you for reading!

Hello Dolls,

On the weekend before Thanksgiving, we were invited to my BFF’s housewarming party. Yeorgia and her husband, Adrian, purchased their beautiful new home, and had a small group of friends over to celebrate. I didn’t get a chance to post it earlier because Thanksgiving week was so crazy! We had so much fun at their house that I had to write about it even though I’m a little late. Their house is adorable, the food was delicious, and the company was perfection as always. Yeorgia and I went to college together, so we have been friends for over 10 years. I must say its quite satisfying witnessing each other build families with loved ones.

I chose to wear my favorite black skinny pants with leopard & leather because clearly I can’t get enough of it. Swear to God I did not plan these posts back to back like this. I didn’t even realize it until I started writing about my outfit. Oh, and I also wore my lovely rock & republic booties from Kohl’s!

Thanks for reading!

Hello Dolls,

As the days get shorter and the sunshine limited,  I decided to throwback to my favorite weekend this summer. I love to travel and experience new things, but somehow every year my husband and I end up in LA, Miami, Las Vegas, or all of the above. We recently discovered south of France, but given the distance, a weekend trip to Monaco wouldn’t suffice. When we got the idea to surprise our cousin, Ninelia, for her birthday in Las Vegas, there really wasn’t much thought. I don’t think I can ever describe the craziness that happens when Nini and I get together, our times together are always unforgettable. Put us together, and no matter where we are there is sure to be some crazyness. So me + Nini + Vegas seemed like perfection. We stayed at the Aria, which is one of my favorites. It was my second time there, and I love the location, its in the middle of everything and its connected to the Shops at Crystals and the Cosmopolitan,

We got there on Friday morning so we could be there before Nini and Vic got in from LA. I was so excited for them to get there, I couldn’t sit still because Nin really had no idea we were coming. When they finally checked in and got to their room, Areen and I, with our bouquet of pink balloons, knocked on their door and the crazies began when Nin opened the door with a reaction I will never forget.

We spent our first night having dinner at Nobu and resting up for the next day. I’ve been to the one at the Atlantis in the Bahamas and the one in Miami, but this was my first time at the one in Vegas, and as always, I was not disappointed.

Saturday was when it all really began. We want to Drai’s Beach Club and pretty much turned the place upside down. I don’t think there was any other table there that was having nearly as much fun as we were. When I said we turned the place upside down, I meant we literally turned everything upside down, everything at our table. The ice, the soda water, the lemons, the limes, the orange juice….all got dumped on someones head. Everyone around us was just staring at us wishing they were having that much fun. Unfortunately, Drai’s did not feel the same way so they asked us to leave because we were making a “mess”. We decided to continue our party in the limo on the way back to the hotel.

Areen and I decided to stay in Vegas for one more night because that weekend was also our 4th wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going to the High Roller Ferris Wheel and then having dinner at the Eifel Tower restaurant at Paris. I was surprised at how beautiful the view was, it overlooked the fountains at the Bellagio, so it was a perfect romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary and a perfect end to a perfect weekend.

Hello Dolls,

This weekend, I went to visit my sister and baby niece, Noela, in New Jersey. She is so adorable, and I can’t get enough of her. She’s only two weeks old, so I was excited to be there to witness her very first ride in the new stroller. We took her to Edgewater where you can see spectacular views of the NY skyline. We got very lucky with amazing clear skies, and the visibility was perfect. It was a little windy, but perfect for an October stroll. To me, Fall is all about layering. I love jackets, chunky sweaters, and of course ponchos, like the one I am wearing here. It is so comfortable and not as bulky as say a leather jacket.

And guess what! I just purchased all of this stuff, so if you love it, you can get it too from the links below!

Hello Dolls,

This weekend, we celebrated my husband’s best friend’s birthday. Friday night, we had a casual evening at Top Golf in Alexandria, VA.  It was quite a fun experience, especially since they had pink golf balls – it made it even more exciting for me ;).

I went with a casual look: sweater, skinny pants, and my favorite flat boots. When I first saw the fringe on this sweater, I knew it belonged in my closet. I just recently picked it up, so if you happen to love too, follow the link below the picture. After all, I had to be comfortable if I was going to beat everyone at miniature golf. I think we stopped keeping score after the third hole because we were too busy laughing at our outstanding golfing skills.

Check back tomorrow for my Saturday look details 😉

Hello Dolls,

I cannot believe fall is here so soon! To celebrate the turning of the season, I present to you my first fall outfit! Given my Russian roots, it’s quite ironic how much I absolutely can’t stand cold weather, but I do love being able to pull out my jackets, boots, ponchos, and all the fun fall layering pieces!

When I put this outfit together, I was feeling casual and edgy.  I wanted my outfit to match my new car – so I went with this blazer that I snagged from H&M in LA the last time I was there. I particularly love this piece because it can be dressed up or down. The faux leather on the sleeves is everything. I am not usually crazy about graphic tees, but I couldn’t pass this one up for obvious reasons. If you are looking for a casual yet trendy outfit, you can never go wrong with dark jeans and a blazer. The jeans: True Religion, is probably my top 2 favorite brand of jeans, they fit amazing and these are incredibly comfortable.  I had a very busy day with a checklist of errands, so I decided to go with a pair of my super comfy Vince Camuto sandals, otherwise, I would have loved to wear boots or pumps.

Oh, and yes, I got a new car because my old one was totaled when a lady plowed through it while it was parked in my office lot, then proceeded to drive 25 feet into the office building. Yep, that was quite the day, nothing like looking out your office window and seeing your car smashed into a tree. Thank God no one was hurt!

Bye bye Benzie. Even though it was just a car, this was my wedding present from my husband, and I’ve had a lot of wonderful memories with this car!

Hello Dolls,

Last Saturday, I was invited by a good friend Sim Khan from Brimble & Clark to walk in the Green Cup Polo fashion show at the Capitol Polo Club. It has probably been at least 10 years since I last walked down a runway, so it’s safe to say I had a bit of rust to shake off. I absolutely love blazers, and no one does them better then our very own DC native Sim Khan. Brimble & Clark has truly emerged as a top contender for custom tailored suits and blazers. The fabric choices range from DC conservative, to NY Chic, to Miami vice – so whatever your style, there is a good chance Sim has you covered.  I am extremely selective in the clothes that I wear, and often find it hard to find something that truly catches my eye. Most of the time I can imagine an outfit in my head, but can’t always find it in stores which is why I love custom made items. I have been a witness to the Brimble & Clark process because my husband has purchased quiet a few suits and they are all the epitome of perfection. You can never have enough blazers because adding one to your outfit can always spice things up whether your goal is to appear more professional or fun and sassy. Needless to say, I cannot wait to get my own blazer made, or maybe even a few!

Masha

The first piece that I wore was this amazing orange and gold embroidered one-button blazer. Lots of pop and vibrance in an very clean and chic look. This would be perfect if you wanted to take any outfit from simple to fabulous for any occasion from a work function to a night out.

10548070_10154559414010582_5564951048245165831_o

The second one was a more sophisticated houndstooth blazer with slanted pockets, and a pink satin inner lining. Being pink obsessed as I am – I couldn’t get enough of the lining.

10572054_733014003435130_1142944053277807823_o10694413_10154559421765582_8849426619210143504_o

This was an event at the Capitol Polo Club so we went with an equestrian chic theme. Under the blazers I wore high waisted leggings , a corset crop top , riding boots, and pearls. I love mixing different styles and I loved the contrast of the corset crop top and pearls. Washington, DC is the epitome of conservative so I had so much fun shocking everyone with a corset under my blazer. I am anything, but conservative so that was one of my favorite parts of the show.

Hello Dolls,

Yesterday my husband and I were invited to model in the Brimble & Clark fashion show at the Green Cup Polo Match at the Capitol Polo Club. It was an amazing event and we were very honored to be a part of it. I will have to dedicate a separate post to the fashion show itself because it was amazing, but I am waiting for the professional pictures of the event. For now, I will just share the outfit that I wore outside of my modeling. How can anyone ever pass up a chance to wear a fabulous hat? I procrastinated a little on looking for one, so when I couldn’t find anything I went to etsy.com and had a hat rush delivered. I chose to accessorized with pearls and simple diamond studs to make my outfit even more polo chic. Washington, DC is conservative to begin with, so the look I was going for was sophisticated, classy, and chic.

Hello Dolls, This weekend was my husband’s birthday, and in true Movsessian fashion, we celebrated all weekend long. I kind of like to make all our birthdays a really big deal!  We kicked off the weekend with a dinner with our closest friends. Friday night we went to Richard Sandoval’s new restaurant and lounge called Toro Toro . The food was delicious and the service was great, especially for Washington, DC, but the lounge wasn’t really happening so we ended our night at Lima.  I don’t know if its because it was Labor day weekend or if everyone has realized that DC nightlife really isn’t all that, but the ambiance at Lima didn’t fare any better. Anyways, on to more important things like what I was wearing: I am usually a skirt or a dress person, but this year because I don’t like to be predictable, I decided I would switch it up and wear shorts. I wanted a classy outfit that was appropriate for dinner, but sexy enough for a night out. Also, being that it was labor day weekend, I wanted something really fun and summeresque before we transition into the season of jackets, scarves, and boots. (stay tuned for lots of that in the coming weeks) Let me know what you think! xo Masha IMG_0280

Hello Dolls,

My husband’s birthday is coming up on September 1st, and I am so excited about the upcoming festivities! Birthdays in our household are kind of a big deal! As I was looking for what I am going to wear this weekend, I was remembering his birthday last year. I loved my fabulous dress from last year so much that I almost wish I could wear it again ;). I got it from Bebe probably a month before his birthday, so when his birthday rolled around, I felt that it was perfect for a dinner with friends and a night out to celebrate my amazing hubby. I loved the studs and the open back with crisscross straps. I paired the dress with white shoes from Aldo that I had also just gotten a few weeks before while my cousin was visiting me from LA. We went to one of DC’s hotspots, Fujimar and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing their service was and how much fun we had – not to mention the food was delicious. Stay tuned for what we do this weekend.
