I cannot believe its already fall! Where has the summer gone? I’m not a big fan of the fall because all I can think about is that winter is coming and winters in the mid-atlantic are brutal. The only bright side of fall is fashion week — and of course boots, jackets, scarves, comfy sweaters, cuddling by the fireplace and hot cocoa ;). So ladies, without further adieu, it’s time to put away all your sun dresses, bathing suits, and flip flops and get out your jeans, boots, and scarves! To kick-start the fall spirit, I am going to share my favorite denim looks because recently I am seeing denim everywhere! This season, there really is something for everyone. My favorite look is the high wasted flair with a crop top or tucked in blouse. I recently tried on this fabulous pair of Blank NYC jeans at SouthMoonUnder that I think I am going to have to go back and get. They are currently 20% off so don’t miss out!
#1 Rag & Bone Thrasher $295 – these are probably one of my favorite jeans that I have ever bought I just love them! If you are going to go for ripped might as well go all out!
#2 Whitefox Boutique $64.96 AUD
This weekend, I went to visit my sister in Hackensack, New Jersey. Since she is expecting her baby princess any day now, I decided I would help her add some finishing touches to the little princess’ beautiful nursery. Saturday morning became a much needed therapeutic session of painting butterflies on the walls of my baby niece’s pink castle :P. On Saturday afternoon, we were invited to a friend’s BBQ nearby, so I decided to spend the last day of Summer outdoors as we will be heading into another dreaded cold winter.
I wore AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans, one of my favorite purchases, especially in the jeans department. They are more comfortable than some of my leggings. I actually bought two pairs when I first tried them on and would definitely recommend a pair for the fall in one of their fall colors.
After the BBQ, we went to an amazing sushi place called Sushi Cruise in Edgewater, NJ. They had a large variety of rolls on their menu and it was beyond delicious, well worth the wait! Also the view of New York City from their terrace is unbelievable, so if you ever go I highly recommend that you sit outside.
